Haddam Historical Society Hosts the CT Spring Antiques Show

The Haddam Historical Society’s largest fundraiser, the Connecticut Spring Antiques Show will be held this weekend at the Hartford Armory, 360 Broad Street, Hartford, CT.

Saturday, March 24, 2018 hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018 hours are 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $15 and there is free parking at the LOB garage.

The show will feature over 55 of New England’s and the nation’s most respected antiques and art dealers and on Sunday, March 25 visitor’s age 35 and younger receive free admission to the show. There will be educational programs throughout the weekend including a talk on antique children’s chairs with Colchester antiques dealer Arthur Liverant and “Soil and Shul in the Berkshires: The Untold Story of Sandisfield’s Jewish Farm Colony” with Lorraine German of Mad River Antiques of North Granby.

The Haddam Historical Society will have a display of 19th century signature quilts on display from members and the society’s collection, including a mid-19th century album quilt made by members of the Haddam Neck Congregational Church.
