Haddam Meadows Invasive Cleanup 10/28/17

The next fall invasive plant cleanup will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon with a rain date of Saturday, November 4, 2017. Meet to the left of the boat launch behind the Girl Scout bench. We will remove bittersweet and other invasives. Adults and youths, under age 16 years of age accompanied by an adult, are invited to participate. Please dress for the weather, wear waterproof boots, bring garden loppers or saw, sunscreen, bug repellent, first aid kit. Snacks will be provided. Do not bring pets. Volunteers with dump trucks and Haddam dump stickers are needed. The event is planned by CT DEEP Adopt A Park Volunteers: Cherry Czuba and Mary Lou Heger.
