HVFCo: Early Morning Motor Vehicle Accident

Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident at 6:10 a.m. this morning (July 30, 2016) on Parker Hill Road near the Beaver Meadow Road intersection. A driver lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree. Firefighters extricated the unconscious driver. The driver was transported via Haddam Ambulance with a paramedic from Middlesex Hospital to Middletown where she was transported to Hartford Hospital via Life Star. Life Star could not land in Haddam due to dense fog. The cause of the accident is unknown and Connecticut State Police are investigating.
