HK Rec Dept: Summer 2016 Girls Volleyball Clinic

volleyballThe Haddam Killingworth Recreation Department is offering a Girls Volleyball Clinic. Register online or by filling out a registration form and returning it to the Recreation Department. For more information call: 860-345-8334

This clinic will introduce the basic skills of Volleyball and will focus on a different skill each week. Throughout each week players will progress their skills into play, and the last half hour of the clinic for scrimmage-like play. Not only will the players learn individual skills, but the logistics of how teams play together and some strategy for advancing ones play.

Coach Mackenzie Hinds: Finishing her freshman year at Gordon College, where she plays volleyball and has recently been made captain.

  • Played on the HK volleyball team for four years.
  • 4 years of club volleyball
  • Helped coach younger girls
  • Assistant coach for a 17-year old club team.

Coach Lauren Brough: Currently playing volleyball at Bates College, in Lewiston Maine.

  • Played on the HK volleyball team for four years.
  • 4 years of club volleyball for CT Volleyball Academy.
  • Helped coach Middle School girls volleyball club and ran youth clinics for CTVA.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 28 – July 28, 2016

Grades 5-8 (5:00-7:00 PM)

Grades 9-12 (7:00 – 9:00 PM)

$120 for all 10 nights

$80 for 5 nights

$20 drop-in
