Teens at the Brainerd Memorial Library

These are ways for teenagers in town to get involved at the Brainerd Memorial Library:

The Teen Advisory Board is a club for teenagers in middle and high school. The board assists with children’s programming, helps select young adult materials, organizes teen activities, aids in running the Children’s Summer Reading Club, and performs other Library duties throughout the year. For grades 7 to 12. Please contact Marissa in Youth Services if you plan to attend, mlehmacher@brainerdlibrary.org or call 860-345-2204. Pizza will be served!

Teen Volunteer Club at the Library – Read stories to preschoolers! Have fun teaching arts and crafts! Share a special interest with kids younger than you! This group assists with children’s programming, helps select young adult materials, organizes teen activities, aids in running the Children’s Summer Reading Club, and performs other library duties throughout the year. The group meets periodically. Talk to Diane or Sarah in the Children’s room at the library if you think you want to volunteer for a one time story group or if you want to participate as an ongoing volunteer.Teen Volunteer Form.
